SFP28 DAC are hot-pluggable cables used for 25Gb data transmission. The term “SFP” stands for Small Form Factor Pluggable, and utilizes a single transmit and single receive within the SFP28 connectors. These cables utilize copper COAX wiring and are an ideal low-cost option for short reach applications. SFP28 DAC are ideal for high-speed transmission in data centers, cloud computing, and hyper-scale transmission and are compliant with RoHS, IEEE, and MSA standards.
